A medium-sized butterfly famous for its extreme sexual dimorphism. Males feature velvety black wings with brilliant, iridescent white spots fringed in blue. Females look entirely different, displaying an orange base with black and white apex markings, closely resembling the toxic African Monarch butterfly.
